Coming from a leaked slide during Nvidia’s World Mobile Congress presentation is the release information regarding the Tegra 2 3D, the world’s first mobile 3D processor. This only means one thing, mobile computing is now going 3D! With the portable 3D hype being started by the Nintendo 3DS, it won’t be long before our mobile phones and tablets go the same route as well. More information after the cut.
However, the similarities with Nintendo seem to stop there, as reported by TechEye:
Yup, 3D is the way to go. No surprises there. It can be reasoned coming mobile handsets will offer a Master Image TN-LCD display using cell parallax, a technology using the individuals cells to create a 3D effect instead of a parallax barrier, as Nintendo will be using in its 3DS console.
